Marlowe was born, raised and educated in the Philippines. After finishing his post-graduate studies, he worked in a government legal office and taught in some universities in Manila, Philippines. In late 2011, he and his family decided to move permanently to Canada.
For four years Marlowe worked as a Corporate Legal Assistant with a law firm in Grande Prairie, Alberta. While working full-time, Marlowe challenged law examinations administered by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada for foreign law graduates and practitioners wanting to get certification that their legal education obtained abroad is comparable to that provided by an approved Faculty of Law in Canada.
